DIY E-commerce site

A website should be considered just one aspect of your overall marketing plan, with its importance dependent upon your type of business, geographical service area, and other marketing activities.

If you’d like to boost your site’s value in search engines, you can list it in the major Australian business directories, eg. True Local, Start Local and Hotfrog. Please only submit a handful of directory listings at a time and wait a week between batches. A sudden high volume of directory submissions may be viewed by Google as spamming, and your site may be banned. For the same reason, please do not use cheap “bulk directory submission” services.

If your business relies heavily on search traffic, we recommend you consult a reputable search engine specialist.

Custom programming is a specialist field and not included in our web design packages. We utilise a variety of popular web builder platforms to create our client's websites. We will modify a suitable template using your logo and colours, to create a look which complements your business identity.

Our website options include standard functions like a Contact Us page and the incorporation of images into the page content. Depending on the option you choose, your website may include additional functions such as a built-in blog, e-commerce functions or image slideshows. Some additional features may be available through free or paid "plugins".

Advanced functions and/or customisations to your website should be undertaken by a suitably qualified developer.

You will have full access to your website via account login with the relevant third-party provider/s. We recommend you change your account password from time to time, to help keep your site secure. In the event of hacking or other technical issues, please consult the appropriate third-party provider via support ticket, help files or user forum.
